Description

Benzagel Acne Gel is a topical treatment for uncomplicated facial acne as well as acne vulgaris. It contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide, in a unique formulation that is micronized (reduced to tiny particles) to effectively penetrate the skin and kill the bacteria that cause acne inflammation.

Ingredients:

Medicinal Ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide USP 5% w/w in a water / alcohol gel. NonMedicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, carbopol, dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate, fragrance, methyl salicylate, sodium hydroxide, water.

Directions:

Wash face with a non-medicated soap. Apply twice daily. Fair skinned individuals should begin with on application. First test on a small area; if excessive dryness or irritation occures, discontinue use and consult a physician. Slight stinging, peeling and redness may occur; this is evidence that Benzagel is working. If mild redness persists, try Benzagel “Spot-On” Acne Gel 2.5%. For more severe cases and/or if substantial improvement is not apparent within 4 weeks, consult a physician. Using other topical acne products at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one product should be used unless directed by a physician.
