Ketostix changes colour depending on the level of ketones found in your urine. Colours range from beige to deep purple to display a level of ketones in your urine. Use Ketostix urine reagent test strips to monitor ketones to ensure the body is not using too much fat for energy.

Directions:

1. Remove the strip from the bottle. Immediately replace the cap. Do not touch the test area of the strip.
2. Dip the test end of the strip into a fresh urine sample and remove it immediately or pass the test end of the strip through a stream of urine.
3. Begin timing.
4. At Exactly 15 seconds, match the reagent area to the ketone colour chart. Ignore colour changes that occur after 15 seconds.
5. Record the result.
