Description

Wampole’s Ferrous Sulfate is used to prevent or treat anemia caused by iron deficiency. Iron is an essential mineral because it is necessary for the production and proper functioning of red blood cells.

Its use is recommended to treat or prevent iron anemia caused by a lack of red blood cells due to pregnancy, poor diet, excessive bleeding or other related medical problem.

Adults: 1 tablet per day

Elemental iron (dried Ferrous Sulfate) ………. 60 mg

Keep out of reach of children. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child.

Do not use except under the care of a physician. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience symptoms of iron toxicity such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomiting blood), and diarrhea.

Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Some people may experience constipation, diarrhea, and/or vomiting.
